Mrs. O'Connor has been a member of Somerset College Prep. since the school opened its doors in 2012.  She has distinguished herself as an accomplished teacher in all levels of Biology and Chemistry, as well as all levels of middle school science.  Her teaching career spans over four decades and includes most every science subject taught at the middle and high school level, including AP Biology and AP Chemistry.  Ms. O'Connor has been recognized as a Teacher of the Year and awarded letters of recognition from such institutions as MIT and Stanford University. 

Ms. O'Connor is currently the Science Department Chair and the person for whom the Science Wing was named. Additionally, she is the Sponsor/Adviser for National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, and Science Olympiad.
