About Mr Sinski....

My name is Jonathan Sinski. I am originally from Buffalo NY, although I have lived in Tallahassee, FL, and Nanhai China at some point in my life. I am passionate about history, current events, music, swimming, adventures, and travelling.

I have earned a Bachelor's in History with a minor in Classics from Canisius College which is located in Buffalo NY. I earned my Masters from Florida State University in Middle & Secondary Social Science Education. In addition to these degrees I have earned a Recognition of Excellence for exceptional individual performance on the Praxis II Social Studies test by scoring in the top 15% of all test takers.

Among my teaching experience I spent two years teaching History, Economics, and Geography at an English speaking school in China. During that time I was fortunate to tour many of the beautiful and fascinating countries in that part of the world. I am excited to continue my work for the Somerset Family of schools, and the students and parents here at Somerset College Preparatory Academy in Port Saint Lucie.

If you ever need to contact me please feel free to email. I am fairly quick to respond and can be reached at my school address: sinski.jonathan@somersetcollegeprep.org
Cheers,

Mr Sinski

Make-Ups (Posted 9/23/13):

If a student misses a test or quiz due to absence it is their responsibility to come and make it up.  Before school or during lunch are preferred times.  Other arrangements can be made if asked.  Please let me know the day before if you plan on making something up in the morning.  I am normally here by 7:30 AM at the latest, but would hate to show up and find out that someone has been waiting since 7 AM for me.
I would encourage everyone to sign up.
